Description
Tilia tomentosa bud extract (or Linden, or silver linden, bud extract) is known and has long been used for their calming and relaxing properties: it favors the asleep, it is anxiolytic, in combination it can also be used for irritable colon, gastritis and to combat stress.
Tilia tomentosa bud extract is able to improve mood and to perform anxiolytic and mildly antidepressant activity. It is therefore recommended in anxious syndromes.
In sleep disorders it promotes sleep and helps increase sleep duration. The Tiglio gemmoderivato also greatly increases the ability to fall as it is a sleep inducer (not a sleeping pill, which can cause addiction): for this reason it can easily be used both in children and in the elderly.
Instructions for use: take 20-50 drops of tilia tomentosa, diluted in water, around 18 and half an hour before bedtime;
- in the subject particularly anxious the bud extract can also be taken in the morning upon awakening.
- the dosage in the child (over 2 years of age), will be 1 drop per kilo (weight of the child) in the water, the night before bedtime.
- the treatment should be continued over time. It is a sleep inducer (not a sleeping pill, which can cause addiction): for this reason it can easily be used both in children and in the elderly.
Functional ingredients: Glycerine Macerate of Linden (Tilia tomentosa Moench) gems.
Curiosities from scientific literature and possible associations: As an antispasmodic it is indicated in all cases where the spasm dominates: in the treatment of the irritable bowel, for example, it may be prescribed alone or it may be used alongside the cranberry bud extract (Vaccinium vitis idaea), a specific bud for this disease, of which will optimize the action. In case of gastritis or stress, the association with Ficus carica bud extract is recommended.
