Pure pumpkin seed oil for hair, cold pressed, from organic farming. It contains a high percentage of vitamins, phytosterols, trace elements such as iron, selenium and zinc as well as unsaturated fatty acids, especially oleic and linoleic acids, and cucurbit. Pumpkin seed oil for hair is extracted from pumpkin seeds, the fruit of Cucurbita maxima. Among the active ingredients present in the oil there are therefore also cucurbitin and sterols, involved in the inhibition of an enzyme 5 alpha reductase and, consequently, in the conversion of testosterone into dihydrotestosterone: this action is useful to counteract androgenic hair loss, i.e. the one that affects men aged 45/50 and over and menopausal women.
Pumpkin seed oil, as mentioned, is also useful for those who have seborrhea, or sebaceous hypersecretion which is a pathology of the scalp due to excessive sebum production, caused by the hyperactivity of the sebaceous glands. Occasional seborrhea is usually attributable to various causes: metabolic disturbances (due to an unbalanced diet on fats), digestive disorders, hormonal imbalances, stress and nervous factors.
Use for hair: apply to damp scalp and hair, massage for a few minutes, leave on and cleanse with a mild shampoo.
